Job: Industry Placement / Internship for Web Interface & Interaction Designer (London, UK) Tom, 29 Jun 2009

We are currently looking for an exceptional person to join our small team as an Web Interface & Interaction Designer for a 6-12 month placement/internship.

For all applicants we’d expect the following:

• - Experience developing websites / web applications
• - Experience working with CSS and XHTML/HTML
• - Knowledge of user experience and usability issues
• - Good communication skills
• - Good verbal and written English
• - Grounding in typography & layout design
• - Recognition of the value of good design
• - An eye for detail

The following would also be advantageous:

• - General programming and scripting experience
• - Familiarity with Mac OSX and Linux
• - Experience working with Ruby on Rails
